Cash still pours in to appeal
MORE than £515,000 has now been raised for the Palliative Care East Appeal and the campaign shows no sign of slowing as money continues to pour in. Nicola ran the marathon in memory of her aunt and uncle who lost their lives to cancer.
Rollesby and District WI president, Irish Bourne (in pink), is pictured handing over a £300 cheque to Prue Foster from the Palliative Care East Northern Villages fundraisers.
Prue is a retired Macmillan palliative care nurse and with appeal co-ordinator Jenny Westgate went along to the coffee morning - where the money was raised - and gave a talk on the appeal and what palliative care was about.

Appeal events include a garden party at the Grosvenor Casino in Yarmouth tonight , a fun night at Regent Bowl tomorrow night , Coffee Around the World next Friday at Fenside, Mill Road, Burgh Castle, and Dusmagrik Productions' Musical Magic at the Marina Centre on June 28.
Lowestoft fundraiser Tracy Harper will hold a fun day at Aldwyck Way in the town on July 13 from noon until 3.30pm; there will be stalls, clowns, dancers and the Signing Choir will also perform.
