We have two lovely boys currently in the care of Yarmouth Greyhound Homefinders.

A stunning but shy boy, Impey needs a calm and relaxed home where he can settle into home life at his own pace. Impey loves going for peaceful walks however he needs an owner who will continue his socialising with smaller animals. Impey will be a rewarding companion, he’d live as an only pet or with a familiar easy-going hound. Once confident, Impey is a cheeky and playful boy, he’s spent time in the home of a volunteer and proved to be housetrained and very well mannered, settling well with the resident greyhounds.

We also feature Dandy, the biggest boy in the kennels but a gentle giant. Dandy has a lovely tall, elegant stature, is an easy-going lad, walks well on the lead and is good around other dogs. He appreciates fuss and reassurance as he can be a little unsure in new situations. Dandy would love a quiet home with long countryside walks and a big comfy bed to return to, he’ll make a great pet.

For more information, or to meet Impey or Dandy, contact homefinding co-ordinator Corinne Douglas, on Homefinders’ local rate call number, 0845 458 3797.

The Norfolk and Suffolk Animal Trust has several dogs and cats looking for homes – some have been waiting patiently for a long time.

Ruby is a six year old Staffie cross. She is vaccinated and chipped and is good and friendly, and loves a fuss. She is fine with other dogs, with the charity describing her as a “very nice dog.”

Frank is a four year old male English Bull Terrier cross. An affectionate dog, he loves cuddles and enjoys sitting on your lap. Castrated, chipped, and good with other dogs.

Blu is an eight year old Staffie who is vaccinated and chipped. Pretty and friendly, she has been living with another dog. Blu needs to be in a household where she’s not left, as she suffers with anxiety. A nice natured dog, she will make an ideal one-to-one pet.

The East Norfolk RSPCA branch has lots of cats and kittens, all beautiful and looking forward to having their own family.

Little Chicken is a really sweet cat, she is around 12-18 months old and is quite a confident cat. She has lived with other cats in the past so would be happy sharing with an existing feline.

Chert is a cheeky young cat, she loves a fuss but can be a little timid initially then she just loves fuss - and loves her food as well!

Spike is finally ready for a home after months of rehabilitation. The charity think he was hit by a car and suffered facial injuries and a broken leg which would not heal so was sadly amputated. He gets around fine on three legs, but will need a secure garden for when he has some outside supervised time. He is young at around 18 months.

Munchie is a really sweet girl, having lived all her life outside and being ear tipped as a feral many years ago, but she truly isn’t. Since being looked after by the charity she loves a fuss and can easily be stroked and purrs away like a train. She will need a quiet home where she can settle as she is very happy in foster care. She is around seven years old and deserves to be comfortable for the rest of her life. She is also a tad lazy.

Several black cheeky kittens are looking for homes. They are around eight weeks old, and will be ready to leave very soon so please call to see who is available.
