Gorleston-based furniture makers Norfolk Manufacturing are donating the kitchen unit which is being made at the company's base at Long's Industrial Estate. The CCTV system was introduced to the town's High Street at the end of 2007 and has been credited with cutting crime at the busy shopping hub.
PC Jason Howell, of Gorleston SNT, said: “There is just a kettle and a fridge at the control centre at the moment and the money that would have been spent on the kitchen can now go towards expanding the CCTV scheme.”
