A large crowd has gathered in Great Yarmouth town centre to witness the opening of a Poundstretcher store in Regent Road.
The store, based in the former BHS building and which has created 20 jobs, was officially opened by the mayor of the borough Kerry Robinson-Payne at 10am and saw people queuing up 7.30am to take advantage of a series of bargain offers.
In opening the store Mrs Robinson-Payne said: “I am delighted with the lovely investment Poundstretcher are putting into the town.”
Deputy store manager Peter Pousfield said he was pleased so many people had turned up for the opening.
