PLANS have been submitted to build a business innovation centre in Great Yarmouth to help budding entrepreneurs set up their own companies.
EnterpriseGY has lodged a scheme to convert the Futters furniture store in the Conge into a business support site, which could help create 250 businesses and provide 1,500 training days in the next two years.
The new hub will also house partnership agencies, such as the Prince's Trust and the police, and it will work closely with secondary schools on developing pupils' entrepreneurial skills.
Futters is due to move to another site in the town and Yarmouth Borough Council will discuss the new centre plans in the next few months.
