AT THE end of term children attending La Jolie Ronde French for Children in Bradwell and Somerton attained their first certificates.
They put on a presentation for parents and families, showing stories about the beach and the forest in French, sang songs in French and finished by teaching the parents to count and asking them to join in with a counting game and 'Jacques a dit…..' (Simon says). The older children told stories about a frog, a snake and a fly and the hare and the tortoise.
The children were all very excited about the parents coming to see them and were presented with a certificate, a sticker and a pencil for finishing their first course. They will be going on to study the second book in September.
There are vacancies for year 2 and 3 children in September at both venues and a few vacancies for year 4 and 5 children.
