THE Seal Rescue Centre at Winterton, near Yarmouth is to hold an open day on Sunday to show off some of the aquatic mammals it looks after and to raise vital funds at the same time.
During the day, which runs from 10am to 4pm at the Somerton Road site, visitors will be able to see the mischievous harbour seal Wanda, who triggered a two month search recently.
People will also be able to find out how they can adopt Wanda and the other seals also being cared for, including Buster, Charlie and Luck'ee.
The centre hopes the open event will raise cash to help buy its team of volunteers a new rescue vehicle and set up more seal pens.
For more information on the work of the centre and how to volunteer visit www.saveourseals.co.uk.
