People can get a bird's eye view of Yarmouth and the surrounding countryside by climbing the 144ft high Nelson Monument tomorrow.Monument guides will be on hand from 10am to 4pm to explain how the grade I listed monument with its 217 steps was built in honour of Lord Nelson.
People can get a bird's eye view of Yarmouth and the surrounding countryside by climbing the 144ft high Nelson Monument tomorrow.
Monument guides will be on hand from 10am to 4pm to explain how the grade I listed monument with its 217 steps was built in honour of Lord Nelson.
The 30 minute tour of the South Denes site costs �6 per person. The monument will also be open today and on Sunday but people will not be able to climb it.
