The second annual Help for Heroes convoy will see around 70 4x4 drivers travelling from Bungay to Hemsby for the charity.

Organised by Andy Hoffman, founder of the East Anglian Off Roaders group, the drivers will set off from Oaklands Farm in Flixton Road, Bungay, at 10am on Sunday, July 1, heading towards Beach Road car park in Hemsby where a fun day will be held.

The event, which will also include a parade along Great Yarmouth seafront, was started last year as an informal get together for members, with about 25 drivers taking part.

Mr Hoffman, who lives in Earsham, said: “I’ve spent a whole year planning this so it’s bigger and better and this is what it has snowballed into.

“Help for Heroes is a really good charity and there is a close link between Land Rover owners and military charities.”

The convoy is expected to arrive in Hemsby at around 12.30pm where there will be family entertainment until 5pm.
