A GROUP of nine to 11 year old children raised £179 for the Norwich-based charity Nelson's Journey, which helps youngsters deal with the bereavement of a close family member. They organised the event, wrote letters of sponsorship and did a sponsored walk around Fritton Woods.
They were Emma and Robert Chinery, Dana and Abbie Westrup, Bethany Crisp and Emily Gibbs, who attend Woodlands Middle and Breydon Middle schools.
Emma and Robert have been to Nelson's Journey camp as their dad died in 2001.
Haven Veterinary Practice, Bewilderwood and Funkies helped the children with their fundraising.
