A group of youngsters did they bit to raise money and smiles at a care home this Red Nose Day.

Children from Sara and Jenny’s child minding services popped along to Ealing House Residential Care Home in Martham on Red Nose Day to treat residents to an afternoon of comedy and cakes.

Red Noses at the ready, the children arrived at the care home on Repps Road in the village, all decked out in red outfits, bearing gifts of delicious bakes treats and hilarious jokes.

The youngsters shared some of their favourite gags and gave out their goodies to the residents, in an afternoon that raised more than £30 for the Comic Relief cause.

They also helped make and decorate cakes to accompany the residents’ afternoon tea, which were gratefully received.

Jenny Ewing, of Sara and Jenny’s child minding services, said: “A great time was had by all and £36 was raised for a wonderful cause.”
