Getting Ready For Junior School was the order of the day for youngsters when the School Council from North Denes Middle met the children in Y2 and Y3 at Alderman Swindell First. In September, both year groups will be moving to North Denes when it becomes a Junior School. The meeting was arranged to support the children in preparing for this big change in their lives. Each class had already talked about the move and written a list of questions that they wanted to ask. The questions were sent in advance and the School Council arrived ready to talk about the issues raised. It was a very successful event and has added to the transition plan that the two schools have put in place. It was also great to welcome back ex-pupils who were such positive ambassadors for North Denes. Pictured are members of the North Denes school council answering questions posed by Y3 children.
