A GROUP of children from the Gorleston and Hopton Children's Centre took part in a sponsored Big Toddle event to raise money for children's charity Barnardo's.
A GROUP of children from the Gorleston and Hopton Children's Centre took part in a sponsored Big Toddle event to raise money for children's charity Barnardo's.
Dozens of families braved the wind and rain to take part in the event on Gorleston seafront, from the bandstand up to the cliffs and back again raising just under �100.
Marie Addy, family support worker who organised the event, said: “We had a great turn out, mums, dads, grandparents and even four generations of one family with a great grandfather.
“Children were well kitted out with wellies and raincoats and were presented with a medal and certificate for taking part. I would like to thank everyone who took part, especially Jodie Ellis for all her support.”
