YOUNGSTERS on the children's ward at James Paget University Hospital met their Norwich City heroes during a festive treat.
Midfielders Stephen Hughes and Simon Lappin visited the hospital to chat, sign autographs and hand out goody bags to youngsters who are receiving medical treatment, care and support.
Play specialist Marie Cross said: “The visit really brightened up the day for the youngsters - it lifted their spirits, took their minds off their medical conditions and will help their recovery.”
Stephen Hughes said: “It was nice to meet the youngsters - they show real courage and we wish them a full and speedy recovery. They are in good hands.”
The children received gifts such as rucksacks and signed photos, which were funded by the city squad.
