Officers have been targeting vehicles parked illegally on Baker Street after it was raised as concern by local people.

So far 15 £30 fixed penalty notices have been issued to vehicles which have overstayed parking times in restricted bays and those parked on double yellow lines.

Warning letters have also been sent to the registered owners of 10 vehicles which overstayed the 30 minute slot in the parking bays on the street.

Illegal parking on Baker Street was made a priority at the team's last Safer Neighbourhood Action Panel meeting (SNAP), where it was decided the team would continue to work on the priorities of anti-social behaviour on the seafront and vehicle crime around Avondale Road.

The next priority setting meeting will take place on September 29 at 7pm. To contact the Gorleston Safer Neighbourhood Team call 0845 456 4567 or email sntgorleston@norfolk.pnn.police.uk.
