MORE than 35 pupils from Cliff Park Middle School went to France for an educational modern foreign languages trip.

The excited group left Gorleston at 5.50am and arrived very tired at their chateaux home nearly 12 hours later.

The second day was based around Paris, starting with the Eiffel Tower, followed by a boat ride on the River Seine to see sites such as Notre Dame, The Louvre, and again the Eiffel Tower.

On the third day they went to a French market, where they had the chance to make purchases, and practice their French and in the afternoon there was activities back at the Chateaux, including rock climbing, abseiling and group activities.

The next day, they went to Disneyland, getting on as many rides as possible, and at 4pm watched the spectacular parade.

And, after another marathon 12 hours of travelling the youngsters and teachers arrived home with some wonderful memories.
