More than 25 coats and pairs of shoes were stolen during a burglary in Hopton last week.

Police are searching for witnesses to the incident, which occurred when people entered through an unsecure door at a house on Coast Road.

A vehicle outside the house was also entered and searched, but nothing was taken.

The burglary took place some time between Thursday September 1 at 7.40pm and Friday September 2.

Police want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen or heard anything suspicious, or anyone else with any information about this burglary.
