Mourners are being invited to wear colourful clothes at the funeral service for Julie Reynolds on Friday September 28.

Her husband, well-known coach operator Charles Reynolds, said the request had come from the couple’s daughter Emma ahead of the final farewell at Caister’s Holy Trinity Church, a stone’s throw from the Reynolds’ Coaches depot where Mrs Reynolds, 60, was a key figure.

It will be followed by a private service at Gorleston Crematorium.

The wake will be held at the Imperial Hotel in North Drive, Great Yarmouth.

Her death after a short illness came as Mr Reynolds copes with his own bombshell cancer diagnosis which lead to the sale of his beloved fleet of vehicles, all famously named after important and deserving people in his life.

Mrs Reynolds was involved in the excursion side of the business, helping people to have happy days out.

The couple had recently become grandparents for the second time, doting on the two young children.
