BUS services on the Great Yarmouth to Norwich route have been boosted as competition between rival operators heats up.
Anglian Bus announced this week it was doubling the frequency of daytime services on the flagship route.
The timetable changes are adding to the already fierce competition with the rival First Eastern Counties X1 service.
And Mercury readers can save some money on a return journey between Yarmouth and Norwich (and vice versa) anytime between Monday, October 27, and Saturday, November 15, inclusive.
All you have to do is hand a voucher, printed in this week's Mercury, to the driver and save £3 on a £4 return fare.
Buses will be running again between Yarmouth and Norwich via Brundall and Blofield on Anglian's A47 service in addition to the X47 express route stopping at Acle.

Andrew Pursey, Anglian managing director, said: “The large increase in fuel costs had made it unviable to continue running the A47 service to Yarmouth. Now prices have stabilised, it is a good time to restore the service, especially as there was a huge demand in Brundall and Blofield for it to come back.
“We are always listening to customer feedback and are confident this will be a popular move, especially with the busy Christmas shopping period approaching.”
Beccles-based Anglian launched its Yarmouth-Norwich service in January and has rapidly expanded the number of routes in the area since moving from being a coach company to bus operator in 1999.
