POLICE in Gorleston are appealing for information following the theft of a garden ornament.
A white concrete lion, purchased by the elderly victim's grandchildren as a present, was stolen from Youell Avenue.
It happened between 4.30pm on Saturday, and 3.30pm on Monday.
Police Community Support Officer Dawn Kemp said: “The ornament holds great sentimental value with the resident who has been saddened by the theft. I would urge anyone with information about the whereabouts of the ornament to contact police.”
