A FAMILY circus could be coming to the village of Belton if parish councillors allow the performers to set up their tents.

The clowns and acrobats have been invited to stay on the Bell Lane Field for a week in July as part of an education scheme proposed by Waveney and Breydon Middle Schools.

Pupils will visit the circus during the day and people can enjoy big top shows during the evening.

The parish council and the Bell Lane charity trustees are to vote on Thursday night.
