Culture celebration in Acle

A SPECIAL evening to celebrate culture and the arts could be held in Acle as part of a national initiative known as Light Nights.

Villagers have been invited to stage their own Light Night event, possibly on a balmy summer evening, which could feature performances by jazz bands, drama displays and barbecues.

Villagers have been invited to stage their own Light Night event, possibly on a balmy summer evening, which could feature performances by jazz bands, drama displays and barbecues.

Martin Blackwell, from the scheme's co-ordinator the Association of Town Centre Management, spoke to Acle Parish Council about the Light Nights event, which aims to encourage people to celebrate their city from a different perspective by celebrating a shared history and culture.
