Cyclist taken to hospital after serious crash on A47 at Hopton
A cyclist was taken to hospital after being injured in a serious crash with a car.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the serious road traffic collision, which happened on Monday evening in Hopton.
Officers were called around 6.50pm to reports of a collision between a black Citroen C1 and a cyclist on Lowestoft Road on the roundabout near to the petrol station and Co-operative food store.
The road was closed whilst emergency services attended including the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA).
The male cyclist sustained a fractured collar bone and was taken to the James Paget University Hospital for treatment.
The road was re-opened around 8.30pm.
