Dancers School pupils successes

PUPILS from The Dancers School in Gorleston had a successful time at the Anglian Dance Festival earlier this month, gathering a variety of medals and trophies.

PUPILS from The Dancers School in Gorleston had a successful time at the Anglian Dance Festival earlier this month, gathering a variety of medals and trophies. They were entered in classes for solo and duet work in classical ballet, modern, tap and song and dance sections at the festival, achieving the following results:

Beth Harris 1st in modern solos 15 years and over

Beth Harris and Hannah Titterington 1st in tap duets 21 years and under

Olivia Harris 2nd in song and dance solos 15 years and over

Katie Green 1st in modern solos 13 and 14 years, 1st in tap solos 13 and 14 years, 1st in modern improvisation, 2nd in classical improvisation, 2nd in song and dance solos 13 and 14 years, 3rd in ballet solos 13 and 14 years

Jane Colledge 3rd in song and dance solos 13 and 14 years, 3rd in own choreographic section

Katie Green and Jane Colledge 1st in ballet duets 15 years and under, 2nd in modern duets 15 years and under, 3rd in tap duets 15 years and under

Sidony Gooch and Chloe Round 1st in song and dance duets 9 years and under, 2nd in modern duets 9 years and under

After all these successes at the Anglian Festival, pupils are now working hard to put on an equally impressive performance at the Newmarket Dance Festival in April.
