ARROWS ace Mervyn King is stepping up to the oche on Saturday to raise cash for a two children whose mum died in a tragic accident.

Darts players can test themselves against the PDC World Number 5 at the Sun Inn, in Bradwell from 2pm.

Money raised will go towards a family holiday in Florida for Kyle and Jordan Palmer who lost mum Kelly in a car accident last November.

Seven year old Kyle and Jordan, nine, will be joined on the two week trip to the Sunshine State by dad Keith and other family members.

The fundraiser has been organised by Justin Brown, manager of Blundeston Magpies under-eights football team, where Kyle is a player.

It follows a successful charity penalty shoot with former Norwich City stars at Yo Football in Great Yarmouth last week, which raised more than 4,000.

Bradwell based King, who won the World Masters in 2004, will be competing in next month's PDC Premier League.
