Day two of the Great Yarmouth Maritime Festival is ready to set sail

Crowds flocked to South Quay in Great Yarmouth yesterday as the first day of the annual Maritime Festival delighted visitors with a range of attractions - with even more to come today.

Visitors enjoyed the grand parade, making arts and crafts and watching performances.

There were a variety of stalls for visitors to enjoy. These included, craft stalls selling preserves, decorations and ornaments. There were also a range of stalls serving food, from sweets to waffle’s and sausages to Hemsby Herring.

Today, enjoy performances of Punch and Judy at 10.30am, 12pm, 1.30pm and 3pm and art clases at 11am, 1.30pm and 3pm.

The East Norfolk Militia will be performing again today, expect some dastardly deeds and plenty of gun powder.

All boats and vessels are docked up to see and visitors are welcome aboard some of them.

To close this years festivities, there will be a closing ceremony at 4.45.
