THE identity of an Eastern European man who was found dead in a hotel on Great Yarmouth seafront more than two months ago has still not been confirmed.
Police said they were still not certain of the identity of the body, which was discovered in the Blyth House Hotel on Marine Parade on Thursday, June 19.
It is believed that the man was Bulgarian. In a bid to formally identify him police had flown in someone they believed was connected to the dead man to try and confirm his name.
However last night police said that they were still not in a final position to formally identify the body and all his known details were now being passed on to Yarmouth Coroner's Court for registration.
