The excitement of the World Cup has left many football fans on the edge of their seats, or even struggling to sleep at night.

But a furniture store in Great Yarmouth is offering a special discount that should provide some comfort.

Normans Furniture in the market place is selling all full priced furniture with a 10pc discount for as long as England remain in the World Cup.

The shop has been running the offer since the group stage of the tournament and promotions manager, Karl Hewitt, said he expects the discount will remain in place until the final.

He said: “Lots of customers are coming in on Wednesday to make sure they get the discount. One customer has even put down a deposit now for a product they want in December.

“But I don’t think shoppers need to rush, I have every confidence the promotion will run until Sunday.”

Meanwhile, British Heart Foundation’s had a Southgate-esque waistcoat on display above an England flag in their shop window.
