Once again customers at Gorleston pub, The Dock Tavern, have been busy with various events throughout this year raising money for local good causes. In 2016, the total raised was £4,429.65 which has now been handed over to the Norfolk and Waveney Prostate Cancer Support Group.

This money is being added to that raised for new equipment that improves the chance of the first biopsy finding the cancer within the prostate. The total now raised for local organisations has now almost reached £27,000 since fundraising began at the pub in 2010. The Dock extends a huge thank you to everyone who organised events and donated in any way.

For the rest of this year and during 2017 money raised will be divided equally between the Great Yarmouth and Gorleston Memory Club and BUILD Norfolk, social, leisure and learning for people with disabilities.
