A CRACKDOWN has begun on dog owners who fail to clear up mess left by their pets in public places.Four people were prosecuted at Yarmouth magistrates court today as Yarmouth Borough Council's environmental health team began a clampdown after receiving many complaints from the public about dog faeces.

Four people were prosecuted at Yarmouth magistrates court today as Yarmouth Borough Council's environmental health team began a clampdown after receiving many complaints from the public about dog faeces.
The Yarmouth residents- Anthony Pugh, Garnet Nicholls, Gary Millet and Joan Hennison- received fines for the offences which happened in February and March.
Pugh, of Apsley Road and Nicholls, of Bure Close were both fined �60 and ordered to pay a �15 victims surcharge.
Millet, of Clarendon Close and Hennison, of Granville Road were both fined �100 and ordered to pay �70 costs and the �15 victims surcharge.
