The Swinging Sixties were a decade of change and in the Great Yarmouth borough it saw a boom in holidaymakers flocking to the coast for their summer holiday.

The east coast adapted and Yarmouth itself saw the top stars of the showbiz scene appear in the theatres during the summer of season, and horror upon horrors, happily mingle with the crowds!

In the Mercury this week, we take another dip into our photograph archives for a 28-page supplement covering the years 1960 to 1964. Enjoy.
