A DRINK-driver who caused an accident was jailed for three months yesterday after he admitted his third offence of driving while under the influence of alcohol and also driving while disqualified. George Costa, 23, was driving his friend's Peugeot on South Quay in Great Yarmouth when he pulled out in front of traffic without indicating and without lights. Two other cars were damaged. Yarmouth magistrates heard Costa, of King Street, had been banned from driving for three years last August for his second offence of drink-driving. Rob Burrows, in mitigation, said his client only drove the car a short distance. Costa was also banned for three years.
