Drugs charge women sent to crown court

TWO women are to appear at crown court on charges of conspiring to supply heroin and cocaine in Great Yarmouth.

Martha Downer, 40, of Nuffield Close, Gorleston, and Kelly Lacey, 22, of Kimberley Terrace, Yarmouth, are alleged to have conspired to supply the class A drugs on January 30.

Yesterday Yarmouth magistrates court bailed both women to appear at Norwich crown court on June 9 for a preliminary hearing.

Magistrates issued an arrest warrant for Warren Goring, 37, of Sheerness, Kent, after he failed to attend the court on the same drug conspiracy charges.
