POLICE continued their crackdown on drugs over the weekend with homes raided in Gorleston. Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Teams based at Gorleston police station executed two warrants, the first on Friday night at a home on Queens Crescent.

Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Teams based at Gorleston police station executed two warrants, the first on Friday night at a home on Queens Crescent.
A man was given a street caution for possession of cannabis while another man was arrested for possession of a Class A and C drugs with intent to supply. The man has been bailed while police carry out further analysis of the seized items.
On Sunday officers issued a street caution for possession of cannabis to a man after raiding a property on Bells Marsh Road.
Officers arrested a second man who was later charged with possession of cannabis and bailed to appear at Great Yarmouth Magistrates Court later this month.
Sgt Lewis Craske, of Gorleston SNT, said: “With teams embedded in the community, we are gaining information all the time and will act on it. If anyone has information on drug dealing please contact your local Safer Neighbourhood Team or alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously.”
