Keen runners are resting up ahead of a challenging race along the beach of Caister on Saturday.
The Nelson Knee-Knobbler is comprised of three different courses and participants have the choice of two different distances.
The Caister race is the first of the series and will begin at the lifeboat station. From there, competitors will run along the seafront and weave in and out of the dunes.
The event is also Canicross-friendly, meaning runners can take on the challenge with their dog.
Dunerunner organised the first Nelson Knee-Knobbler in 2014 and have been hosting the event annually since.
A spokesperson for Dunerunner said: “The event is truly amazing, beautiful, challenging, highly unique and above all huge fun - possibly the most fun you can have with your clothes on in Norfolk.”
The next leg will be held in Winterton in July and the final race is in Sea Palling in October.
