A student at East Norfolk Sixth Form College has secured a prestigious place at a Dutch design academy.
The Eindhoven Design Academy interviewed 650 candidates from across the world and Brogen Berwick is one of only 100 students to be offered a place.
Miss Berwick was interviewed in the city in March, presenting a showcase of her work to two assessors and ten other interviewees.
Miss Berwick said: “I was at work when I found out that I had got a place and I just cried.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to have such a fantastic opportunity.”
After completing the four-year course, Miss Berwick aspires to work in a big creative design studio.
Funding for her studies in the Netherlands is limited and Miss Berwick is hoping companies that share her passion for sustainable design may be willing to help her through sponsorship.
