Children from Freethorpe Primary and Nursery school along with parents, carers and other family members took part in a Race for Life fun run at the school.
Everyone set off choosing from a variety of routes running around the school field, the village hall field and back around the playground, with some completing more than one lap.
The young ones seemed to have fun and there was lots of laughter as runners came past the staff marshals. On crossing the finish line everyone was presented with their medal.
A rough count of the sponsor money and donations so far will see just over £1,100 sent off to support this wonderful cause. Many thanks to all who went along, all who donated and all those who stood and gave their support for the runners. Well done to the school council for organising the event.
