Bargains galore as Flegg High School hosts jumble sale

Bargain hunters need look no further than Flegg High School in Martham for a chance to bag more for less on Saturday.

Students have been sifting through bags of donations ahead of a jumble sale being staged at the Somerton Road school.

The aim is to raise money for classroom “extras” not covered by school budgets and also to provide good value purchases for savvy shoppers.

Items for sale range from clothing including uniform to games, sports equipment, toys, roller skates, bags, curtains, household items and lots more.

Diane Spooner said event team were excited to be putting on another community event and showcasing the school. The young people, she added, were all student volunteers and “an amazing bunch.”

The sale is from 11am to 2pm. Entry 20p. Refreshments will be served including hot sausage rolls and cakes. Jumble can be dropped off at the school on the day.
