Children learn about all things Irish for St Patrick’s Day

Having fun around the small world table

The children of Sara and Jenny’s Childminding Services enjoyed a day of fun filled activities as part of their St Patrick’s Day celebrations.

They helped to prepare an Irish stew for their lunch.

While that was cooking there was time to explore the ‘green’ items on the world tray, which caused much laughter as the children tried on the many hats, scarves and glasses.

Following lunch there were some creative opportunities, along with a chance to show off some dance moves as they attempted to do some Irish dancing.
