Children at Edward Worlledge Primary School are enjoying the run-up to Christmas and instead of a fairy have chosen the Queen as the star-topper to their tree.
Festive fever is said to be at an an all time high among the young ones at the school and this week has seen Christmas lunches, carol concerts, end of term treats to the cinema, Christmas cards being exchanged and gifts from the teachers.
Pictured are Miss Goodwin and Maisie from the upper school enjoying the celebrations around the decorated tree, topped off with the Queen as this year’s star.
