The children enjoyed celebrating Science Week at Northgate Primary School with the national theme of “Change.”
The event was superbly attended with around 50 young ones and their families going along to try the different investigations. On Monday and Tuesday, there was “Mad Science” in school carrying out workshops with every class. Each class had an open session so parents and families could go into school and see what the pupils have been doing.
There were some fantastic entries in the Life Cycle Competition with Reception, Year One and Year Two children drawing or modelling the life cycle of a butterfly, and Years Three and Four researching the life cycle of another insect.
