Youngsters saddled up when they spent a day learning about horse racing at Great Yarmouth Racecourse on Thursday.
Pupils from North Denes Junior School enjoyed a day at the races as part of the British Horseracing Education and Standards Trust (BHEST) Racing to School education programme.
They were given activity workbooks to complete with tasks such as working in imperial and metric weights and measures, understanding various roles such as judges, stewards and the clerk of the course and even planning a diet.
