SPRING Europe Day provides the perfect opportunity to go continental at Edward Worlledge Middle School.
Children learnt about the different countries in the European Union and what it means to be part of it.
Pupils and staff wore national dresses from different member states, with winners of the best costumes from each year Emily Weymouth, Tia Durrant, Amber Jones and Rhiannon Edwards.
The school canteen staff also joined in the fun by serving European snacks and lunches throughout the day, including a European Union Flag cake. Year 7 children demonstrated their linguistic skills in Spanish and French by presenting an assembly which included various role plays.
