WOULD you know what to do in an emergency? The children at Edward Worlledge Junior School do.

All pupils at the school undertake a short course in CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation) sponsored by the British Heart Foundation and have been dealing with role-play situations which involved choking, severe bleeding and heart attacks.

The Heartstart UK Schools Programme is being introduced to all schools in Norfolk and providing teachers with a teaching pack, equipment, Resus-Annie manikins and lifesaving training at no cost to the schools involved.
