Children got a taste of life below stairs at Great Yarmouth's historic Elizabethan House. The museum welcomed a group of year 6 pupils from Edward Worlledge Middle School taking part in Victorian Servants' Day.
Children got a taste of life below stairs at Great Yarmouth's historic Elizabethan House. The museum welcomed a group of year 6 pupils from Edward Worlledge Middle School taking part in Victorian Servants' Day.
School uniforms were swapped for garments from the Victorian era during the visit to look at the role of servants in a rich merchant's household. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and staff at the museum put on a fantastic performance bringing the past to life.
