AN elderly woman threatened at knifepoint by a teenager managed to fend off her attacker using her walking stick.The victim, in her 70s, was threatened by a teenage girl who forced her way into the woman's Manor Close home in Gorleston after knocking at the door.

AN elderly woman threatened at knifepoint by a teenager managed to fend off her attacker using her walking stick.

The victim, in her 70s, was threatened by a teenage girl who forced her way into the woman's Manor Close home in Gorleston after knocking at the door.

The teenager demanded money and wielded a penknife towards the elderly woman who then challenged the teenager with her walking stick. The teenage girl left empty handed.

The incident happened last night between 9.30pm and 10pm.

The teenager is described as white, about 17-years-old and had long black hair and was wearing a black cap, black leather jacket and jeans.
