An event to raise awareness of macular degeneration and how diet could help the eye condition is to be held in Great Yarmouth on Thursday.
The event, organised by Mandalay Wellbeing CIC, is at the Acorn Centre from noon and will be led by James Paget University Hospital consultant and eye surgeon Craig Goldsmith who will be giving a short presentation and Q & A session.
Trevor Saunders, of Mandalay Wellbeing CIC, said: “We are producing a short film at the event which will be used and shared to raise awareness of this condition, the film is part of a whole series of films around certain conditions.
“We hope it is a fun event with a serious message.”
Great Yarmouth College students led by Phil Bury will be gaining valuable experience making the film at various locations in the town.
If you would like to attend this free event on Thursday at noon at the Acorn Centre, 8-9 Regent Street Great Yarmouth, email info@mwcic.co.uk to book a place.
