Police have seized 80 cannabis plants from a property in Great Yarmouth.
The plants were found on Wednesday morning after emergency services were called to reports of a water leak in Lancaster Road.
A cordon was put in place, sealing off the road from Nelson Road Central to St Peter’s Plain, while fire services made the scene safe and police carried out investigations.
A police spokesman described the cannabis factory as a “proper set up” and it has since been confirmed that 40 “mature plants” and 40 “baby plants” were seized.
The property has since been boarded up and no arrests have been made.
At the height of the incident, a clutch of emergency vehicles, including five fire engines, were on the scene in the heart of the urban community.
Investigations are ongoing.
