A PUBLIC meeting will be held on Friday night in Great Yarmouth to discuss making the resort a Fairtrade town to help third world famers get a fairer deal.
The meeting at Christchurch Hall King Street from 6pm has been set up MP Tony Wright who hopes Yarmouth gains Fairtrade status by the end of next year.
Yarmouth needs 20 shops, 10 cafes and restaurants to sign up the campaign and churches, schools, the borough council and community groups must pledge their approval.
