FAMILIES are invited along to a celebration day for the community to mark the opening of the transformed children’s centre and library in Acle.
The celebration day is on Saturday from 10am until 1pm and is to be packed with free activities including Steve Sausage the children’s entertainer, the mini monsters roadshow, face painting, t-shirt decorating, a logo design competition, story sessions and lots of freebies to take home.
This family centred celebration day follows the official opening of the �580,000 project on Monday, April 4, when Norfolk County Council Chairman Tony Tomkinson cut a ribbon to mark the transformation.
The county council led the project, which has seen the library double in size and a new children’s centre base developed to support families with children under five.
